In many applications — such as retail and museum lighting — a characterization of anticipated chromaticity shift of SSL products over their usable lifetime is critical to long-term lighting quality. Chromaticity coordinates of some light sources can change significantly from their initial values over time.
ANSI/IES TM¬35¬19 R25Technical Memorandum: Projecting Long-Term Chromaticity Coordinate Shift of LED Packages, Arrays, and Modules recommends a method of projecting the shift in chromaticity coordinates of LED packages, arrays, and modules using data obtained during LM-80 testing.
This webinar will introduce a new IES tool developed by the IES Testing Procedures Committee which can be used by designers and manufacturers to project this shift.
