Note 1: This is generally described within a frequency range of approximately 80 Hz to 2,000 Hz, and can occur if the light source is moving or if moving objects within the field of observer’s view are lit by modulating light.
Note 2: A characteristic of the stroboscopic effect is when a lighted object or person seems to move in discrete, jerky steps. If the frequency of modulating light coincides with the speed of the moving objects, they might appear as stationary or moving in a different direction.
