Tim Veal is a lighting sales professional with background in engineering and a deep passion for thoughtful, human-centered lighting design.

His career has focused on strengthening lighting literacy, supporting designers, engineers and contractors, and helping organizations make technically sound decisions about the systems that shape their spaces.

Tim previously led the lighting division at Ideal Supply Inc., guiding it to become of the most respected in the industry.

In his current role at GS Lighting Group, he works with architects, engineers, designers and distributors on technical product application and lighting and controls design.

As an IES volunteer, he is committed to practical lighting education and meaningful engagement with industry stakeholders.
