From his early days as an Industrial Design graduate at Detroit’s College for Creative Studies to the present as Director of Design at Illuminart, Robert has been creating innovative lighting design solutions for over 35 years.
Robert has been recognized with over 50 lighting design awards and received several Edwin F. Guth Memorial Awards of Excellence for the Qatar National Convention Centre and the Detroit McNamara airport terminal Passenger Tunnel. His work has been featured in a variety of industry publications including; Lighting Dimensions, Mondo, Architectural Lighting, Metropolis, Interior Design, and he has recently been featured in LD+A magazine.
Robert is also adjunct lighting design instructor for College for Creative Studies and Lawrence Technological University and is an At Large Director for the IES and treasure for the Detroit Section.
