Lyn Gomes’s deep knowledge of commissioning is derived from her standards work and boots-on-the ground experience in commissioning, testing, and implementing lighting and lighting control systems. Lyn is the chair for ANSI/IES LP-8, the standard for Commissioning for Lighting and Lighting control systems. She is also chair for LP-16, and a contributor to LP-6. She is the immediate past president of the Building Commissioning Association, won the Benner Award in 2024, and is a Professional Engineer and Certified Commissioning Professional. She is a Senior MEP coordinator for Rudolph and Sletten Construction.
