John Wall

As Factory Support Representative for the Holophane channel of Acuity Brands, I help clients design and complete energy-efficient lighting projects that drive results. I work closely with electric utility program teams to promote incentive offerings and streamline project success across the commercial and industrial sectors.
With decades of experience in lighting design-build and renovation—from large-scale industrial upgrades to targeted commercial retrofits—I bring both hands-on expertise and strategic insight to every project. Before joining Acuity Brands, I served as a Senior Lighting Specialist with Evergreen Consulting Group and worked in distribution roles supporting contractors and facility managers across Oregon and Idaho.
My career began in the automotive industry, where I owned and managed a range of businesses from parts stores to machine shops. That entrepreneurial foundation continues to inform my client-focused, solutions-driven approach in the lighting industry today.
I hold a Lighting Certified (LC) credential from the NCQLP and an OSHA-30 Industrial Safety Certification. I’m also a long-time community advocate, having served over 20 years as a planning and zoning commissioner in Pocatello, Idaho.
An Idaho State University alumnus and lifelong Bengals fan, I enjoy traveling to games and spending time on the Oregon coast with my family.
