Purpose
This Technical Committee researches and makes recommendations for lighting based upon the biological effects of radiant energy.
Scope
Included subject matter: The scope includes photobiological hazards, photobiological effects of lighting on plant systems, non-visual photobiological effects, and safety for lamps and lamp systems. Excluded subject matter: This committee does not address health in relation to lighting outside the context of photobiology.
