PNNL: A Brief Introduction to NEMA/ANSI C137 – Automated Fault Detection for Indoor Networked Lighting Control Systems

This session will introduce attendees to a new industry consensus approach to describing common lighting system faults that is being developed by the NEMA-managed ANSI C137 – Lighting Systems committee. This common approach supports interoperability among emerging automated fault detection tools for lighting systems. A brief background on automated methods for fault detection, diagnostics, and maintenance actions will be presented, along with the current scope and status of NEMA/ANSI C137.13.
