Building on the success of the sold-out 2024 ArchLIGHT Summit, Dallas Market Center will host the latest edition of the fast-growing commercial lighting expo and CEU platform September 16-17, 2025. ArchLIGHT Summit showcases the latest lighting technologies alongside a robust educational lineup for lighting designers, specifiers, architects, interior designers, other trade professionals, and students and educators.

Chip Israel and Steven Rosen are among the featured speakers at this year’s event, which kicks off with a popular welcome party on Monday, September 15, hosted by Women in Lighting + Design. The location for this reception, the D15trict Lounge at the top of the World Trade Center, offers spectacular sunset views of downtown Dallas.

Admission to the expo and hospitality events is complimentary, while a flat fee of $50 provides access to all CEUs on both days.

The show officially kicks off with a complimentary breakfast hosted by the National Electrical Manufacturers Representatives Association (NEMRA). Featuring guest speaker Umesh Baheti from MaxLite.

ARCHITECT magazine sponsored a panel at the 2024 ArchLIGHT Summit. This year, the Texas Society of Architects (TxA) will host a panel featuring past and future Presidents of their organization, discussing top projects designed by women.

Educational sessions include:

  • “Illuminating Evidence-Based Lighting Design for Healthcare” led by Tommy Nichols
  • “The Language of Light” led by Jason Livingston, who will also commemorate the 10th anniversary of TM-30 with a “10 Years of Better Color” session

Other highlights of the 2025 ArchLIGHT Summit include an interactive Color Visualization immersive experience sponsored by Material Bank and Pure Edge Lighting. Casambi also closes the first day of the show with a sponsored Happy Hour.

The next morning, top local agents Architectural Lighting Alliance, Preferred Lighting Group, SESCO Lighting and Texas Lighting Solutions will host “Texas Round Up” hospitality, as well as coffee service.

Student engagement is an important facet of the ArchLIGHT Summit, with an official Student Day on Wednesday, September 17, which will also include a Career Fair this year.

The Showroom Spectacular event on Wednesday afternoon will give attendees an opportunity to explore some of DMC’s 1 million square feet of permanent lighting exhibits, including American Lighting, CSL/Hudson Valley Group, DALS, Electric Mirror, Hanover Lantern, Modern Forms and Nora Lighting. The entire ArchLIGHT Summit will culminate with the “Last Call, Y’all” party in the Eurofase showroom, hosted by IALD Texas and celebrating both the 10th anniversary of the IES TM-30 standard and the AWARE light art installation from the 2023 ArchLIGHT Summit, which found a permanent home at the University of North Texas in Denton, TX.

UNT will also host a lighting-focused career fair during Showroom Spectacular, coinciding with an official Student Day of programming for the next generation of lighting professionals. Student-focused sessions on this day include “So You Want to Be a Lighting Designer” with Jill Cody and a Career Development discussion led by Chip Israel.
