Wilson Dau, IES, LC, LEED AP is an active member of the Illuminating Engineering Society, serving as a member and past Chair of the Office Lighting Committee and the Computer Committee; currently serving his third term as a member of the Board of Directors of the IES. Wilson is the Vancouver Island Branch Manager for Symmetry Lighting. He holds a Degree in Industrial Design from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Prior to joining Symmetry, as a principal at DDCI Mr. Dau was responsible for the lighting design for North America’s first Double-Gold LEED building; he has led or been a member of the design team for many other high profile projects around the world. Over his 30+ year career, he has been granted more than 50 US and International patents for SSL related inventions. Wilson is Lighting Certified by the NCQLP (National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions) and a LEED Accredited professional by the USGBC.
