IES technical committees occasionally consult temporary subject matter experts who specialize in a particular topic.
Time commitment: occasional guest participation, per committee needs
This is a non-voting role without access to committee drafts and resources. Upon review by the committee chair, you may be invited to participate in committee meetings; however, guests must first be addressed by the chair prior to speaking at meetings. You may also be invited to write limited content in your area of expertise for consideration in the document.
As a collaborator with IES technical committees, your participation is vital to creating and maintaining the most up-to-date and reliable consensus information possible for the lighting community at large.
For this submission you will need:
1) IES account ID number. Don't have one? Click here to create a free account with IES before proceeding. Active IES membership is not a requirement, except for technical committee officers. You can find your account ID by logging in at https://www.ies.org/ and clicking "MY IES" at the top right.
2) Resume or CV (preferred) or Bio, in PDF format
3) Review the IES Committees Code of Conduct (signature required at the end of this form). The Code of Conduct is now Annex C of the IES Technical Committee Guide.
