Zhaga Introduces Smart City Sensor AwardsThe Zhaga Consortium—a global association of lighting companies standardizing an array of LED interface components—is launching the Zhaga Smart-City Sensor Awards to recognize and encourage excellence in smart-city sensors, which can be installed on streetlights, and are suitable for Zhaga-D4i certification. Sensor manufacturers and innovators, as well as universities and students, must submit applications for sensors to the following categories by December 16, 2022: climate, innovation and research, lighting controls, mobility, multi-sensors, pollutants and sound.

Commercial participants are eligible to receive international public recognition through Zhaga social media channels and an article in a leading lighting publication, in addition to having the ability to reference the award in marketing material. Students with recognized educational institutions are eligible receive a €2,000 prize. Runner-ups will receive digital certificates.
