Twice a year, each January and June, Dallas Market Center hosts the largest residential lighting show in the Western Hemisphere. Lightovation offers 1 million square feet of permanent exhibits encompassing all categories of lighting for home and hospitality environments. This includes decorative and architectural fixtures, interior and exterior lighting, light sources and controls.
The next edition of Lightovation, running January 8-11, 2025, will give lighting professionals their first look of the year at the illumination solutions and directional style trends that will be shaping design moving forward. Instead of being showcased in traditional trade show booths, these products will be incorporated into inspirational displays and in-situ demonstrations, leveraging exhibitors’ larger-scale showrooms.
Lightovation runs concurrently with a broader home design event across DMC’s 5 million square foot campus, with non-lighting categories providing additional context for materials and finishes that will be surrounding and influencing lighting selections. DMC is actually the busiest open-daily design center in the country.

Registration for Lightovation is complimentary for trade professionals and provides access to all on-site educational and hospitality events(opens in a new tab). DMC’s full-time Lighting Concierge will also lead tours for first-time attendees on Wednesday, January 8, and Thursday, January 9.

January 2025 Lightovation comes on the heels of DMC’s record-breaking ArchLIGHT Summit commercial lighting expo and CEU platform. The next edition of ArchLIGHT Summit will take place September 16-17, 2025, with registration opening in the spring.
