The interactive, light sculpture installation DANDELION by Ryotaro Muramatsu, which first bloomed in 2020 as a symbol of peace and inspiration during the COVID-19 pandemic—and has since traveled to cultural hubs such as Paris, San Francisco, Shanghai, Singapore and Tokyo—will be on display in Hong Kong through the end of October, 2024. Part of the NAKED, Inc. “NAKED FLOWERS Exhibition of Dancing Lights and Shadows: Hong Kong,” an experiential event held at a popular entertainment complex where guests learn more about the flowers on display through various senses and digital components, the artwork asks guests to “blow” on a dandelion and send a digital puff out to the next worldly installation—and cross cultural divides through wishes of love.
