The IALD welcomed the Middle East to its list of 10 other Regions at the end of 2022, providing thousands of individuals in the lighting community with opportunities to participate in networking and educational programs and events. “This organization and its community have been a beacon of integrity and dynamism for over 50 years, and the establishment of a new Region in the Middle East is a testament to the ceaseless evolution of this profession,” said IALD CEO Christopher Knowlton. In honor of the expansion, IALD will serve as an association partner at Light Middle East, a lighting design conference and exhibition, on January 19 in Dubai.
