After a chapel’s original skylight was restored, George Sexton Associates developed a louver system to gently wash its art-filled walls with daylight and earn an IES Illumination Award of Merit.
The skylight ring houses supplemental downlights for general illumination and special events, controlled by a wireless dimming system.

Diffused daylight from the louver system enables viewers to see subtleties of the paintings’ color and shading.
