The initiative aims to support and promote responsible lighting practices by providing lighting specifiers with tools and guidance to protect biodiversity, conserve energy, decrease light pollution and more. Aligning with the principles of the Responsible Outdoor Lighting at Night (ROLAN) Manifesto, the new initiative outlines five components of the industry where the company can assist lighting professionals and help educate key stakeholders through its product design. This commitment to sustainability includes the shift to adaptive lighting controls, precise optics and light shields, more efficient LEDs, warmer color temperatures and embracing circular economy solutions.
