[10.6.2.112] In television, film and theater lighting:
1) An assembly of plugs, jacks, and cords (either independent or retracting) serving as a cross connect to permit connection of various load circuits to dimmers or non-dim circuits.
2) Functional section of computerized lighting control equipment that assigns dimmers (or attributes of automated luminaires) to channels on the control system. (See cross connect.)
