[5.9.11.5.6] A numerical assessment of the capacity of a number of sources of luminance, such as luminaires, in a given visual environment for producing discomfort. It is the net effect of the individual values of index of sensation M for all luminous areas in the field of view:

DGR = \Sigma (M)^{a} ,

where:

a = n-0.0914

n = number of sources (ceiling elements) in the field of view.
