Nominating Committee

Purpose

The goal of the Nominating Committee is to select a balanced slate of candidates to serve on the IES Board of Directors who are capable and willing to commit time to accomplish their assigned duties.

Scope

• Promote and seek qualified candidates for openings on the IES Board of Directors
• Identify the type of leadership that would best suit the organization with knowledge of the strategic plan; short-term and long-term goals and any roadblocks the organization faces
• Craft interview questions and meet individually with each candidate to identify the best candidate for each role
• Submit slate of candidates to the IES Executive Director and Board of Directors.
