Priji Balakrishnan
Priji Balakrishnan is a researcher and lecturer specialising in sustainable built environment design, focusing on daylighting design, analysis and prediction. Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratory of Architecture and Intelligent Living at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the Chair of Lighting Technology at Technical University of Berlin (TUB), Germany. In 2021, she was awarded the European Commission’s Research and Innovation Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship to research daylight colour and pattern across latitudes at TUB. Prior to her work in Berlin, Priji was an environmental consultant at Atelier Ten Singapore. Priji holds a PhD from the Singapore University of Technology and Design in Singapore, a Master’s from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, and a Bachelor’s in Architecture from Anna University in India.
