In January Acuity Brands Lighting, Inc entered into a licensing agreement with Biological Innovations and Optimization Systems, LLC (BIOS) to participate in the BIOS ILLUMINATED™ partnership program. As a result, BIOS now sells human-centric LED components for architectural fixtures to Acuity Brands, and Acuity now has the right to use the BIOS® trademark in marketing promotions pertaining to fixtures using BIOS SkyBlue wellness technology. The technology itself introduces natural circadian rhythms to interior spaces and increases end user alertness, mood and productivity.
