DOE Issues a Final Rule Pertaining to Test Procedures for Integrated Light-Emitting Diode Lamps (LEDs)

The Department of Energy (DOE) has issued a pre-publication Federal Register final rule pertaining to test procedures for LEDs. (June 9, 2016).

  • The effective date of this rule is 30 days after publication in the Federal Register. Representations must be based on testing in accordance with the final rule starting 180 day after publication in the Federal Register.
  • All notices, public comments, public meeting transcripts, and supporting documents associated with this rulemaking are included in Docket No. EERE-2011-BT-TP-0071.
